For this public comment period, your name, email address, stakeholder group and organization representation will be requested to ensure accountability. This information is for internal use only. Your details will not be made public, nor will GRI use your email address for any other purpose than to clarify a response. Should you choose to participate, your name and organization will be published. Names and organizations will not be linked to individual responses.

Provide a response to questions GRI has asked in a public comment period
Select the public comment period you want to respond to. In the General Comments box, press the button 'Start' and select the areas you want to comment on.
Select a choice, and/or type in the open-ended response box. Don't forget to save your response.
If you want to leave a comment on particular words or phrases in a document:
Select the public comment period you want to respond to and select 'Start' or 'Continue' under the Document Review box. Select the document you want to comment on from the list.
Highlight the text you want to leave a comment on. By default, you will highlight/comment on text. However you can also strikethrough and insert text. In the pop-up window, type your comments into the yellow space of the pop-up window and select a Tag. Save your response.

Leave comments in a language other than English
Submissions in languages other than English should be sent via email or by post. The GRI Consultation Platform supports English only.

You can always edit your feedback before submission, even if your status shows 'Done'.
To edit feedback saved in the General Comments area:
Select the 'View feedback' link in the General Comments box and locate the response you want to edit. Click the '(edit response)' link next to the response. Select a different answer option and/or to change an open-ended response, click inside it. Save your response.
The same applies if you want to delete a saved response. Clear your answers by deselecting your answer option and/or clearing the open-ended box of all text.
To edit feedback saved in the Document Review area:
Select the 'View feedback' link in the Document Review box. Click on the '(edit comments)' link next to the document that contains the comment you want to it. Locate the comment in the document and click on it. Choose between Edit and Delete. Clicking 'Edit' will open a pop-up note. Edit your comment and press 'Save' to save your response.
Check comments before submitting
Select the public comment period you want to respond to. After filling out the Document Review or General Comments sections, the link 'View feedback' will open a page where you can view all your comments for that section.

Print a copy of submitted comments for record
After submission, you can download a complete record of all your comments in one pdf. You can find the link on the relevant consultation page.
Once you have had your say, this is the last step in finalizing your submission. Press the 'Submit' button on the consultation page, and click OK when you see the prompt.
This important step will allow GRI to 'see' your submitted comments.
You must have an account to enter the platform and you will need to register to create an account.
Registration involves entering some personal details, a valid email address, and creating a password. On a second screen you will be asked a series of profiling questions. Answer these questions to the best of your knowledge.
View and change account details
You should change your profile information if it does not accurately reflect your current situation when you are providing comments.
Click on your email address in the upper right hand corner of the screen to access your account page. Your details will appear. Click on 'Edit your details' link to change them, and save your changes.
You can close your account if you no longer wish to participate in any of GRI's consultations. You will not be able to access your previously submitted comments, although GRI will keep a copy of your details and comments on record.
Click on your email address in the upper right hand corner of the screen to get to your account page, then press the 'Deregister' button.
Forgot your password and can't enter the system? From the login page, you'll be able to arrange for an email to be sent to you that will reset your password. Clicking on the link in the email will allow you to choose a new password.
It can take up to five minutes for the system to send you the reset email. Any longer than this, we advise for you to check your SPAM filter.
Want to change your password for security reasons? Log into your account and click on your email address in the upper left hand corner of the screen to access your account page. Click on '(Change password) link to enter a new password.
